Dear Reader!

I last wrote a newsletter in December last year. Since then, a lot has changed—outwardly, I have moved to a quiet area outside Hamburg, surrounded by a leafy forest that I love. But above all, inwardly, I feel how I have changed when I meet people from the past. Do you experience that, too?

Last year, I felt like I had nothing new to say, and my writing seemed uninspired, so I took a long, relaxing break. In any case, I hope you are well and have had a good year.

As I write the following, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Nevertheless, I cannot shake the impression that we are entering a new era. Deception, manipulation, and whitewashing are becoming increasingly difficult because the world is becoming more vigilant and denouncing misconduct quickly. People are becoming more outspoken and brave.

I believe the true potential for 2025 lies in creating a space in which people feel free to share their thoughts openly and engage in real conversations, both within and outside of organizations. If we listen without prejudice, we may be able to detect hidden sparks of genius and fresh ideas in others—insights that can help us change things we no longer want to continue.

I hope you have a great year ahead. Happy New Year!

Kind regards

Zarmina
